From the president:

The Hilliard Civic Association is an all-volunteer
non profit corporation (501c4). It is our pleasure
to bring to you Old Hilliardfest. This Two-day festival
was started nearly 25 years ago on the streets of Old
Hilliard. In the year 2000, after two years hosted by the
Chamber of Commerce, when the end of "Old Hilliard Day"
appeared imminent, a small group of local volunteers founded the
Hilliard Civic Association. With the sole purpose of producing this event,
the HCA set out to raise the bar and re-create the street fair.
It was decided to bring the best musical acts from the
greater Columbus area to perform on our Main Street stage.
The Hilliard Arts Council moved the Hilliard Art Fair to the same date
and has been a valuable addition and a great partner.
Due to street construction in Old Hilliard in 2006,
Old Hilliardfest moved to the Franklin County Fairgrounds.
2009 is the year The Fair returns to Main Street.
New streetscapes and a renewed vision for Old Hilliard
make Old Hilliardfest a perfect fit for the "new" Downtown.
We look forward to showcasing dozens of local
businesses on the midway in our vendor area.
There will be great food
from several carefully selected food vendors as well as
treats offered by Main Street eateries.

The tireless dedication of the HCA members,
and the help of many local civic groups and city leaders,
have built Old Hilliardfest into one of Central Ohio's best festivals,
bringing together the areas finest artists, the hottest
cars, delicious food and the best Main Stage music
anywhere! I hope you will join us at our planning
meetings and see just how much fun it can be to throw
Hilliard's Biggest Party!

See You At Old Hilliardfest!
